The Jawid Foundation was formed in 2020 after a decade of charity work.
Our mission is to help reduce poverty globally. According to the World Bank statistics, 696 million people or 9.3% of the world live in extreme poverty, surviving on less than $1.90 a day. What’s most shocking, is this number isn’t getting any better. On the other hand, the pandemic-induced the number of poor worldwide is estimated to be between 143 and 163 million in 2021. Poverty continued to impact much of the population, with millions of people falling below the poverty line every year.
We’re here to change that.
What we do
Our volunteers are here to help where it’s needed most. We’re always open to new volunteering opportunities. These include raising awareness in local communities, fundraising events, and foreign trips. If you’re interested in joining, let us know.
